Your future duties and responsibilities

As a tenacious Pursuit Lead you'll have the capability to pursue and bring new client opportunities to CGI, building out a key sub-sector of our Central Government business unit.

Working closely with senior business unit stakeholders, the successful Pursuit Lead will be responsible for:
Personally driving the development of new business with assigned clientsActing as a key stakeholder for new Client relationships, taking ownership of the sales pursuitsLeading the full sales cycle through suspect, prospect, opportunity and closureDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with assigned clientsLeading and managing to achieve strategic targetsMarket research to ensure knowledge of procurements/opportunitiesDevising and proposing solutions to meet Client needs based on business/organisational valuePresenting and defending sound and reasoned arguments for proposalsDemonstrating a good understanding of your specialist area and the impact this can haveRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Track record of successful Business Development within the Central Government spaceDemonstrable experience of building client relationships, resulting in successful deliveryStrong stakeholder management skillsAbility to clearly communicate customer business needs and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholdersIdea research and development
