We have one position available for a non-driver on our Double run.

Choose Fairfields Home Care and you can earn £ £16.00 per hour .

As a Community Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents within the Moneymore Area.

We are looking Full and Part-time Care Assistants to join out Cookstown Home Care Team. This role is not suitable for sponsorship.

As a Home Care Assistant you can expect:

  • Flexible working hours and shift patterns

  • Competitive hourly rate (£13 from Monday - Saturday AM, £13.75 on Saturday B2B and £14.50 on Sundays. Pay rate is also £13 for sitting services and £16 per hour for named bank holidays).

Key Requirements

  • Have 2 suitable references

  • Be caring and friendly

  • Be eligible to work in the UK

  • Good standard of verbal and written English

  • Have your NISCC pin or be willing to get your NISCC pin within the first 3 months of employment.

KEY DUTIES

  • Undertake personal care and daily living tasks as agreed with the service user, their family and the professionals involved with the individual service plan.
  • Assisting and enabling
  • Washing and dressing
  • Providing food and refreshment
  • Mobility
  • Bed making
  • Providing interest in activities to stimulate and engage the service user
  • Companionship and care
  • Administering medication (where required)
  • Record Keeping
