We are looking for a proactive and organised Onsite Manager to lead our heavy&bulky delivery operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional service quality, and team performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Location: Luton and Milton Keynes

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm

Salary: £150/day

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily delivery operations, including route readiness, loading, and dispatch efficiency
  • Ensure all deliveries and installations meet required standards of quality and safety
  • Support and monitor drivers throughout their shifts to resolve live operations issues.
  • Maintain open, effective communication with drivers and crew members
  • Provide coaching, leadership, and performance feedback to the team.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and address any service or delivery issues promptly
  • Take ownership of resolving complaints or failed deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records for uniforms, equipment, and vehicle conditions
  • Overseel payroll completion, ensuring all shifts and route data is accurate and aligned across internal platforms
  • Identify and escalate recurring operational challenges
  • Serve as the main link between the site and company departments
  • Promote company culture and uphold professional standard at all times
  • Skills and Experience
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of logistics and delivery operations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using digital platforms ( MS Office, tracking systems, internal apps)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • CPC qualification preferred but not essential
