Business Development Manager - Exhibitions

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join an internationally renowned events business. This is a full-time, permanent position focused on selling sponsorship opportunities and stand space to payroll companies, HR system providers, and people tech innovators at the UK's only tech-focused event for HR and Talent leaders.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll manage your own daily sales performance while supporting the broader event strategy and financial goals. Your work will help create a best-in-class experience for exhibitors and sponsors, collaborating closely with operations, marketing, and the wider show team. This is a chance to bring creativity, resilience, and commercial drive to one of the UK's leading B2B event portfolios.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Business Development Manager role, you will need:

  • 2+ years' experience in B2B new business sales.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to prospect effectively.
  • A solution-selling approach with proven negotiation and closing ability.
  • Resilience, determination, and a competitive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

The Package for Business Development Manager:

  • Salary £35,000-£40,000 + £12,000 OTE uncapped
