Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? Section I:  JOB PURPOSE

Designing and defining new products that pertain to customer applications.

Section II: ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develops initial drawings of new components to produce practical designs based on pre-confirmed customer information
  • Amends current drawings
  • Maintains the drawing database
  • Builds new Bill of Material List and GA Drawings with supervisor input
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) to design concepts
  • Work effectively in a team environment 
  • All other duties as assigned

Section III: POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in an engineering environment and a demonstrated ability to independently produce innovative and successful designs as part of large projects or small projects.
  • Proficient in software applications, 2D & 3D package skills, ideally Inventor and AutoCad.
  • Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
  • Ability to recognize customer products needs and trends in the marketplace which affect product requirements.
  • Detailed Oriented
  • Ability to work within a team as well as alone
