This is full-time role for an experienced Surveyor of Dampness & Timber in Properties to maintain and enhance the company's reputation and service throughout Derbyshire, Notts and South Yorkshire Areas.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for preserving and protecting properties combined with an enthusiasm and a confidence for driving sales. We are looking for candidates who are confident communicators, technically minded, possess a keen eye for detail and are sales and customer orientated.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in damp & timber surveying and be proficient in using various surveying tools and software. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate measurements and data collection for various projects, contributing to the successful planning and execution of damp, timber and waterproofing solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in damp proofing, timber treatments, below ground waterproofing techniques and condensation solutions.
  • PCA CSTDB and CSSW would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Be able to work decisively and independently with strong sales skills.
  • Be adept at liaison between internal employees, site operatives, clients and external suppliers.
  • A full clean driving license.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards throughout the surveying process.
  • Maintain surveying equipment and ensure it is calibrated for accurate results.

Job Role

  • To undertake surveys and use strong technical knowledge to assess and recommend necessary works.
  • Client liaison and client account management through face-to-face surveys .
  • Proven experience in damp & timber surveying or a related field is essential.
  • Day to day liaison with internal team members, external suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Primary technical support to internal staff
  • To build on the Dampcure presence, development and growth of both sales and customers in their respective areas.
  • Communication, selling and promoting the company's products and services.
  • Acting as a technical liaison on all aspects of the products and services we provide.
