As Senior or Principal Public Health Engineer you will join the multi-disciplinary Building Services Engineering design team in London. You will have excellent design, technical and software skills and enjoy working collaboratively in design teams, take responsibility for projects from inception to completion, and be instrumental in assisting with the production of drawings, reports, and specifications.

Responsibilities
Preparing design concept schemes, design detail drawings, calculations, tender documents and reports related to public health, plumbing, fire protection and gas services.Production of engineering design and detail in accordance with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and client requirementsPreparing design calculations, drawings and 3D model inputPerform interface coordination tasks with other disciplinesWriting technical reports and specifications and checking reports, calculations, and drawings by other engineersDeveloping and implementing design best practices, ensuring conformance with codes and client requirementsPreparing hydraulic calculations for plumbing, drainage & firefighting systems.Design of Hot & Cold-water Distribution, Rainwater, Wastewater & Drainage Systems, Fire Suppression Systems etc.Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Science or Building Services Engineering.Understanding of building services and design principles of public health systems.Demonstrable experience of public health / fire protection systems calculations and system sizing.Experience in the design of systems and specifying equipment to comply with building regulations, industry standards, regulations, and specific client standards.Ideally working towards achieving Chartership with a professional institution.Reward
