You will be required to complete a wide range of duties and responsibilities relating to reactive and planned property works.

Candidate requirements:

  • Access to a vehicle during working hours - mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile.
  • Access to a mobile phone with camera and data during working hours.
  • Access to the Basic Tool Kit (as instructed by employer)

Duties including (but not limited):

  • Assist in renovations and repair; demolition, restorer, construction
  • First and secondary fix works; wall studding, framing and joists, plastering etc
  • Complete minor repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, painting, repairs to pipe lines, toilets, sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment etc.
  • Take action to solve problems and/or complaints and use established guidelines for communication during the renovation process.
  • Proactive and Reactive general maintenance

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a minimum one year experience with building maintenance, construction and/or renovations
  • Has excellent communication skills; understand both oral and written instructions in English.
  • Has a professional appearance and conduct at all times, with colleagues and customers.
  • Is able to multitask, prioritize and juggle work orders including last minute requests.
  • Is physically fit, able to lift and carry loads exceeding 25lbs.
  • Is a positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn and help
  • Is able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and bank holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
