London SW AW, United Kingdom Nordic Balance Full time

Nordic Balance, proud sponsor of Battersea Ironsides Rugby Club, is looking for a dedicated part-time Sports Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our team in providing essential pitch-side support to both junior and senior players.

Your Role:

  • Be a crucial part of the game day experience, offering immediate assessment and treatment for injuries.
  • Educate coaches, players, and parents on injury prevention and management techniques.
  • Work closely with the Nordic Balance team to ensure comprehensive care for all players.

Game Day Details:

  • Most games are on Sundays, typically lasting about an hour, but you'll need to be available for 1.5-2 hours to cover pre- and post-game support.
  • Approximately half the games are at Battersea Ironsides (Earlsfield, SW18 4SW) with the rest at neighboring South London rugby clubs.
  • Pay is £100 for home games and £140 for away games.
  • The season is live now and runs until April 2026.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist with some pitch-side experience.
  • Educated to BSc level with a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Passionate about sports and player well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
