General Assistant
to join the team our
Lloyd AllRoad
site in
Carlisle.

This growth has led to more support being required across various departments at the site.

Salary:
£12.25 per hour with an OTE of £29,500

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

The Role:

The General Assistant will play a key role in the smooth running of the dealership. This varied role includes vehicle progressing, creating and managing online advertisements, and supporting the sales team with enquiries and customer care. You will help ensure vehicles are presented to the highest standards and that customers receive a friendly, professional experience at every touchpoint.

Vehicle Progressing

  • Coordinate vehicle preparation, including inspections, valeting, photography, and movement around the site.
  • Liaise with workshop and logistics teams to ensure vehicles are ready for sale on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle status and updates in internal systems.

Advertising & Marketing Support

  • Create, upload, and maintain high-quality online vehicle listings across sales platforms.
  • Photograph vehicles to a professional standard and ensure accurate descriptions.
  • Assist with social media posts, marketing materials, and promotional activity when required.

Sales & Customer Support

  • Assist the sales team with customer enquiries, both in person and over the phone.
  • Ensure customers receive a warm welcome and are supported throughout their visit.
  • Provide administrative support such as preparing documents, updating CRM systems, and organising test drives.

An ideal General Assistant will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with a friendly, customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic photography and digital skills; experience with online sales platforms is an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence.
