Business Development Manager IT Recruitment - BIRMINGHAM 

£45K - £65K Basic + Commission + Override + Equity after 1 year

IT Change and Transformation Recruitment Consultancy with a global reach and a very impressive client list. Currently, there are 29 full-time consultants working from their head office in Birmingham.

Over the past several years the business has primarily been focused on resource delivery through their specialist Perm and Contract Resource Teams - each team having it's own Manager and in line with business growth they are seeking a New Business Development Manager to manage/ grow the Business Development Team. The BD team is it's own entity which will be the driving force of the business. There are 5 x BD consultants at the moment and the goal is to grow the team to 15/20 in the next couple of years.

As most hiring managers know, it is very difficult to build a team of quality new recruiters therefore to help you to achieve your headcount objectives, the company have an excellent training academy whereby trainees go through 6 months of resource training (3 months in Perm/ 3 x months in contract) before graduating and deciding whether to join your Business Development team or stay within Resource Delivery. This will ensure that you have a constant quality supply of new consultants who have 6 mths+ Recruitment training

Once you build the team to in as little as 3-4 hires) you will probably be 'off the tools' managing, mentoring and developing.

Career Development: The owner of the business has 15 years + Senior/ Board experience within a highly respected Global IT Recruitment business, he is in the office most days and will happily mentor if assistance is needed to develop the team past a certain point.

Within 1 year there is an opportunity to become a Director of the business sitting on the board with Equity.

This is a very rare role which will lead to a tangible (and significant) wealth creation opportunity.

Experience Required:

5 years+ IT Recruitment experience
