Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the till, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings.
  • Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies as necessary to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service for guests.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines, ensuring that all drinks are prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.

Skills

  • Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining high hygiene standards.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly advantageous.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.
