Lead Face Recognition & SDK Developer
to shape the future of secure, human-verified communication.

The Role.

You'll work within a small team on the development of YEO's
CFR engine
, enhancing accuracy, deepfake/spoof detection, and packaging it into
cross-platform SDKs
for integration with messaging apps, enterprise tools, and consumer software.

You'll work across
React Native, Flutter, Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS
, turning breakthrough biometric research into real-world, high-performance authentication products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evolve and optimise the
    YEO CFR engine
    for speed, resilience, and deepfake resistance.
  • Build and maintain
    SDKs/APIs
    for use across mobile and desktop environments.
  • Architect and deliver lightweight, on-device inference systems for privacy-first authentication.
  • Collaborate with AI, backend, and security teams to ensure compliance and integrity.
  • Package the technology for use in financial, defence, and consumer sectors.
  • Lead innovation in biometric verification and privacy-preserving ML.

Core Skills

  • Advanced experience with
    face recognition, liveness detection, and spoof prevention
    .
  • Strong background in
    TensorFlow / TensorFlow Lite / PyTorch
    .
  • Skilled with
    React Native, Flutter
    , Android (Java/Kotlin), and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
  • Proven experience building
    cross-platform SDKs or ML libraries
    .
  • Proficient in
    Computer Vision, OpenCV, , and MediaPipe
    .
  • Understanding of
    Edge AI, privacy-preserving ML, and biometric standards (ISO/IEC 30107, FIDO)
    .

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, AI, Computer Vision, or similar.
  • 5+ years in applied ML/computer vision, 2+ in face recognition or biometrics.
  • Proven record of production-grade SDK or cross-platform ML integration.

Soft Skills

  • Analytical, pragmatic, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communicator — able to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
  • Leader mindset — can mentor others and influence architecture decisions.
