Company/Team Overview:

Global Investment Bank offering a wide range of services including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising (debt and equity), and advisory services. Due to growth and activity, we are currently looking to hire at the Associate level to join our high-performing Real Estate (RE) team based in the UK. This team plays a pivotal role in executing a variety of high-quality mandates, many of which have been secured recently across key sectors including Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, Digital Infrastructure, and Operational Real Estate Asset Classes.

Role Overview:

As a member of the UK Real Estate team you will have the opportunity to engage in complex M&A deals and capital raising activities. The role offers direct exposure to high-level transactions, and the opportunity to collaborate with senior professionals within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Execution:
    Play a key role in executing a range of mandates, from M&A to capital raising (debt and equity), across our core real estate sectors: Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, Digital Infrastructure, and Operational Real Estate Asset Classes.
  • Mandate Support:
    Provide support on current live transactions.
  • Deal Structuring & Documentation:
    Assist in the structuring and documentation of complex transactions, including equity raises, debt financing, and joint ventures.
  • Client Interaction:
    Work closely with clients, investors, and advisors to ensure effective communication and smooth transaction processes.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    Conduct market analysis, due diligence, and valuation work for various real estate sectors.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with Analysts, VPs, MDs, and other real estate and sector specialists across the Bank's international network.
  • Support Senior Leadership:
    Provide support to senior team members in managing and executing transactions, ensuring high standards of quality and timely execution.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:
    Senior Analyst or Associate in investment banking, private equity, or a similar real estate advisory role, with a proven track record in M&A, capital raising, debt advisory or real estate transactions.
  • Sector Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of the real estate sector.
  • Deal Experience:
    Experience in executing large-scale transactions, including equity raises, debt financing, and M&A deals, ideally within the real estate or related industries.
  • Technical Skills:
    Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
  • Client Management:
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior clients, investors, and stakeholders.
