Overview

Your passion for cooking and commitment to food safety will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations. This is traditional home made pub grub food.

Duties

  • Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and plating meals according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with other Head Chef to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with an understanding of culinary techniques and able to work alone
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Experience in meal preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills who can collaborate well with colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
