Position Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Finance team at Advania UK. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations for our business, working closely with colleagues to ensure accuracy and timeliness. The Finance Assistant role will suit someone looking to develop their finance career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and reconciling purchase invoices, staff expenses and supplier payments
  • Supporting month-end accounts preparation and journal entries
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash allocation tasks
  • Updating financial records and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Supporting credit control and debt collection routines
  • Answering supplier and internal queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting with ad hoc finance projects as directed by the Finance Manager

Experience

  • Numerate with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role is desirable
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to prioritise, work to deadlines, and manage workload effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of finance software (such as Sage, Xero or similar) is an advantage but not essential
