Company and position Overview

Aquamarine Chemicals, the flagship brand of Bayer-Wood Technologies Ltd, is recognised as a leading supplier to prominent commercial shipping companies and ship owners within the marine industry. We are currently recruiting a highly organised individual with exceptional multi-tasking capabilities to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis at our Twyning offices. The appointed candidate will be responsible for managing sales enquiries via email and telephone, preparing quotations and orders, and assisting customers throughout the ordering process. This position also encompasses the handling of export documentation as required, making it a dynamic and multifaceted administrative role. Strong attention to detail, advanced time management skills, and the ability to coordinate timely delivery schedules are essential. This is an office-based position, operating five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to sales and enquiry calls
  • Managing Sales Enquiries, RFQs Generating quotes, processing orders, and issuing invoices
  • Managing general office administration and overseeing the progression of orders through to dispatch

Requirements & Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative management or a comparable role
  • Exceptional organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Superior English communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Sage or equivalent software, with strong general IT capabilities
  • Capable of working autonomously and efficiently handling multiple responsibilities
  • Highly self-motivated, with advanced multi-tasking skills
  • Enthusiastic and committed to continuous learning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication proficiency
  • Proven ability to independently manage time and workload, consistently meeting stringent deadlines
