As part of our care home, we also run a Day Service, providing meaningful, engaging activities and support for adults with learning disabilities. Working in our Day Service means helping participants learn new skills, take part in workshops, and enjoy social and creative experiences in a safe, nurturing environment.

The Role – Full-Time Day Service Support Worker

  • 37.5 hours per week, 9am-5pm, Monday–Friday.
  • Work alongside the Day Service Leader to provide person-centred support.
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging programs of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Support participants' wellbeing, safety, and independence throughout the day.
  • Help maintain accurate records, including support plans, risk assessments, behaviour charts, and outcome-focused reports.
  • Participate in community events and festivals, sharing life and activities with the wider Corbenic family.
  • Work towards achieving your SVQ3 (funded by us) and SSSC registration requirements.

  • PVG membership
  • SSSC registration
  • Adherence to The Management of Offenders Act (Scotland Exclusions and Exceptions)
