As Housekeeping Team Leader, you'll play a

key role in ensuring Blackpool Grand Theatre

remains a spotless, safe, and welcoming

environment for everyone who walks through

its doors. Supporting over 150 performances

and countless events each year, you'll help

maintain the standards expected of one of the

town's most historic and iconic Grade II* listed

buildings.

You'll lead a small but dedicated team of

Housekeepers, overseeing cleaning operations

across all areas - from the auditorium and foyers

to dressing rooms, stairwells, and offices. A

hands-on leader, you'll work alongside your team

to deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness

while managing rotas, stock levels, and

equipment maintenance.

Your leadership will ensure that every space -

front and back of house - is presented to the

highest possible standard, ready to welcome

audiences, artists, and staff. You'll oversee

training and inductions, support the recruitment

of casual team members, and ensure compliance

with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.

You'll attend regular Operations and Health

& Safety meetings, contribute to the smooth

running of the theatre's day-to-day operations,

and handle any customer feedback or

housekeeping-related issues with professionalism

and care.

This role requires attention to detail, excellent

organisational skills, and the ability to motivate

others in a busy, fast-paced environment. You'll

take real pride in your work - ensuring the Grand

shines as brightly behind the scenes as it does on

stage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Work Location: In person
