THE INTERNSHIP

The Gold Studios is hiring a 
Comedy Talent Intern
to join our Talent Agency team to directly assist our agents in finding the newest and biggest talent in the comedy space.

We represent a fast-growing roster of digital-first comedians - from viral sketch creators to stand-up comics - and we're looking for a driven, comedy-obsessed agent to help take them to the next level.

In this role, you'll be responsible for scouting and signing new digital talent to our roster in the UK.

We work with stand-up comics, viral creators, and YouTube stars to grow audiences, develop careers, and produce standout content across YouTube, TikTok, and live stages. Our mission is simple: build brilliant careers for funny people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


•    Talent Scouting: Proactively discover and approach emerging digital creators who could be a strong fit for The Gold Studios.


•    Industry Networking: Grow relationships with platforms, producers, festivals, venues, and media contacts relevant to digital and comedy talent.


•    Admin Assistance: General help on CRM and internal admit for wider team.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:


•    Knowledge of the comedy landscape, strong industry connections, and a genuine passion for the field (necessity).


•    Experience at a talent agency (highly desirable).


•    Interest in entertainment and wider creator economy.


•    Deep understanding of YouTube, TikTok, and the creator economy.


•    Excellent communication and people skills - able to manage approach and communicate with talent with ease and clarity.


•    Hunger, hustle and genuine love for comedy.
