We're now looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join our leadership team and help us deliver exceptional service and unforgettable guest experiences.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll support the General Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the venue — from leading the front-of-house team and ensuring service excellence, to driving sales, maintaining brand standards, and helping manage operations efficiently. You'll act as a role model to the team, bringing energy, professionalism, and passion to everything you do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver a premium guest experience.
  • Oversee daily operations including service, staffing, and floor management.
  • Support with recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety compliance.
  • Work alongside the General Manager to drive revenue and manage budgets effectively.
  • Ensure stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships are maintained.
  • Handle customer feedback with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Deputise in the absence of the General Manager, taking full operational responsibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of management in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach.
  • A genuine passion for cocktails, food, and creating memorable experiences.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in stock management and rota planning.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading times.
