The Lakes by Yoo is exclusive private development, spread across 850 acres of woodland, meadows & lakes in the Cotswold water park. Established for over 15 years, we build unique, luxury lakefront and woodland second homes. The estate also includes the Award-winning Orchard Spa, and numerous clubhouse buildings. The Estate is fully serviced with 24hr security, Concierge and Guest Services team to help with all resident and guest requests. The Estate is home to several facilities including a full-service spa and gym, tennis courts, restaurant and a zip activities hub.
We are seeking a hands-on, creative, and organised Senior Content Marketing Executive to drive content creation, campaign execution, and cross-channel coordination across our luxury property and lifestyle brand. This role combines visual storytelling with content delivery, working closely with specialist agencies to ensure high-quality, high-impact marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop engaging, high-quality content (video, photography, reels, stories, posts) that aligns with brand tone and agency-led strategy.
Translate strategic content calendars (provided by social media agency) into compelling, on-brand creative output.
Publish and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Monitor social trends and platform updates, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Work closely with the social media agency to execute against the strategic plan, delivering content to brief and on deadline.
Collaborate with the digital marketing agency to ensure alignment across paid social, organic content, email marketing, and website activity.
Liaise with internal teams (sales, rentals, spa, F&B) to reflect key commercial objectives in marketing activity.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, influencers, and event collaborators.
Operate professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio recording devices
Execute video shoots from pre-production planning through post-production editing
Edit videos using professional software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Retouch and enhance photographs using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
Manage digital asset library and maintain organized content archives
Stay current with visual trends and emerging content formats
Support integrated marketing campaigns with custom visual content
Create promotional materials for product launches, events, and seasonal campaigns
Develop visual assets for email marketing, website, and paid advertising
Coordinate content creation timelines with broader marketing initiatives
Ensure brand consistency across all visual touchpoints
Track content performance metrics and analyse engagement data
A/B test different content formats, styles, and posting strategies
Provide insights and recommendations based on content performance
Prepare monthly reports showcasing content ROI and social media growth
Optimize content strategy based on data-driven insights
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Film/Media Production, or related field
Experience in social media marketing with demonstrated content creation portfolio
Proven track record of managing social media accounts and creating engaging video and photo content for brands and organisations.
Experience leading content projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Video Production: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
Photography: Advanced skills in photo editing (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)
Equipment Knowledge: Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and stabilizers
Motion Graphics: Basic skills in After Effects or similar animation software (preferred)
Social media: Experience with scheduling platforms (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools
Deep understanding of content formats and best practices for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook
Knowledge of platform-specific video specifications, optimal posting times, and engagement strategies
Experience with Instagram and Facebook advertising, including video ad creation
Understanding of SEO principles for video content and YouTube optimization
Strong visual storytelling abilities with keen eye for composition, lighting, and aesthetics
Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple shoots and deadlines
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work with limited resources
Brand awareness and ability to maintain consistent visual identity
Strong communication skills for client/stakeholder collaboration
Professional photography or videography training/certification
Experience with 360° cameras, drone photography, or live streaming
Knowledge of colour grading and advanced post-production techniques
Graphic design skills using Adobe Illustrator or Canva
Understanding of influencer marketing and content collaboration strategies
Highly creative with strong aesthetic sensibility
Self-motivated and able to work independently on creative projects
Adaptable to changing trends and platform requirements
Detail-oriented with commitment to high-quality output
Collaborative approach when working with clients and team members
Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for building brand presence
