Top Legal 500 law firm, central London based are seeking a Marketing and Business Development Manager with experience in working in a law firm, to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is a full service law firm with offices across the South East and in Central London. Known for their professionalism, discretion, and long-standing client relationships, the firm combines heritage with a modern, forward-thinking approach.

Experience for this Legal Marketing and Business Development Manager role:

  • Minimum of 7 years solid experience in Marketing and Business development within a law firm
  • Experience of managing budgets and cross-functional teams
  • Experience implementing Legal 500 and similar publications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and brand integrity.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Confident, proactive, and polished, with strong commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities for this Legal Marketing and Business Development Manager role:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to promote the firm's products and services
  • Working with external agencies, oversee digital marketing, social media, SEO, PPC, email campaigns, and content creation
  • Manage brand positioning and ensure consistency across all marketing channels and materials
  • Design and implement the firm's approach to business development, working with the Heads of Practice to support and bring this to life
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Support fee earners to develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Set KPIs and measure performance across marketing and business development activities
  • Manage and action operational lead generation opportunities in real time, working with outsourced call handling and internal triage team
  • Analyse campaign results and market data to optimize strategies and budgets
  • Report regularly on progress, ROI, and key insights to senior management
  • Foster collaboration across departments to align marketing and the firm's goals.
  • Collaborate with Heads of Practice to develop business development ideas and skills
