Merchandiser – Luxury Footwear
A little bit about us
Have you always wanted to work at the heart of a modern, world-renowned luxury brand, deeply rooted in craftsmanship and elegance, while growing at remarkable pace?
At
Baudoin & Lange
, we have redefined the luxury footwear landscape through timeless design, exceptional quality, and modern agility. Operating from our London atelier and headquarters, with global flagship stores in London and New York, our team is close-knit, driven, and passionate. We sell directly to over 100 countries via our e-commerce platform and partner with over 70 international department stores.
We're seeking individuals who thrive in fast-moving, detail-oriented environments—those who value precision, initiative, and finesse. If this sounds like you, we invite you to step into a role that blends analytical excellence with operational mastery.
The Big Opportunity
We are looking for a
Merchandiser Analyst
to join our London team. In this role, you will support the full merchandising lifecycle, blending analytical insights with operational execution. From daily sales performance to seasonal planning, product uploads to retail feedback, you will be at the core of ensuring our product offer is aligned, visible, and successful across all channels.
This role suits someone organised, detail-driven, and highly capable of managing both data and deadlines—someone who understands that luxury lies in consistency, and precision is power.
Your Main Areas of Responsibility
- Analyse daily sales (EOD reports), track missed opportunities, spot trends, and take action accordingly
- Ensure bestsellers are fully stocked and properly displayed; identify patterns in product performance
- Maintain accurate product availability across all sales channels, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time (stores, warehouse, e-commerce)
- Oversee and refine product allocation strategy across retail and online, informed by sales data and stock levels
- Monitor and control store stock levels using automated reports, flagging and actioning replenishments as needed
- Analyse overall business sales (in-store & online) vs. previous year
- Liaise with production to monitor delivery timelines, transit tracking, and stock movement
- Execute and oversee stock transfers, stock uploads, adjustments, and movements between stores, warehouse and wholesale
- Generate stock-on-hand reports for UK/NY locations
- Conduct weekly website checks across pricing, sequencing and categorisation
- Maintain and update Stock Drop Files based on deliveries and seasonal drops
- Support store visits to gather feedback on product performance, visual merchandising, and display execution
- Execute seasonal in-store visual merchandising and curate product display hierarchy
- Plan and implement the merchandising order for product display across both physical stores and online collections
- Prepare and distribute monthly sales reports and retail updates
- Assist in stock-taking, replenishment of packaging supplies, and general store support
- Maintain the product database in Mixtables and Shopify backend for all SKUs and barcodes
- Create and manage product files (titles, SKUs, barcodes) for all new product launches
- Set up pricing for new collections per SKU per market; manage pricing changes due to campaigns or strategy
- Prepare "SKUs to go live" files and update live listings for new launches and relaunches
- Ensure product categorisation and visibility across Shopify and POS platforms
- Support seasonal merchandising efforts including shop window display planning and execution
- Analyse competitor merchandising across stores and websites
- Handle various sample requests (marketing, photoshoot, internal) and ensure efficient tracking
- Remove sold-out or off-season products from the website
- Fulfil ad hoc store merchandising and stock requests
About You
- 3+ years experience in a merchandising or retail operations role (luxury or premium)
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
- Expert in Excel and experience with Shopify or similar platforms
- Extremely comfortable with numbers and complicated data analysis
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear action plans
- A calm, organised operator who thrives on multi-tasking and hitting deadlines
- Experienced in visual merchandising and display planning, both digitally and in-store
- Commercially intuitive with a strong sense of product presentation hierarchy
- A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and proactively
- Passionate about product, presentation, and creating seamless customer journeys
- Strong initiative, with a flexible mindset and positive, can-do attitude
