Axel Arigato currently has 8 stores, including London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Munich & Paris with more pending. Expanding from 2 people to now hiring over 100 members of staff in 7 years, Axel Arigato also operates a subsidiary office in London.

Come join our growing Merchandising team as we aim to optimize the possibilities to drive sales, brand value and profitability through assortment, forecasting and inventory management. This is a key role, especially with our best selling range that is footwear.
In this proactive and cross functional role, you are responsible for the range
- and assortment planning for the footwear category, with main focus on Online and Marketplaces channels. In close collaboration with design-, production -, marketing
- and Online departments you’re taking active part in the product development and planning process for coming collections.
You’re seeking long -and short term opportunities through closely monitoring sales performance, global trends and are constantly up to date with our customer. You’re through connecting qualitative and quantitative insights translating the budgets and forecasting into an excellent value proposition, equally driving sales, profitability and brand value.
The main objective of our **Merchandise Planner-Footwear **is to have a deep understanding of our sales (demand) through each channel and plan inventory (supply) accordingly. To thrive within this role you need to have extensive footwear range planning experience, a deep commercial understanding, be on top of trends and combine all that information with an analytical mindset and data analysis skills.
Some insight into (some of) what you will oversee and be responsible for:
- Taking an active part in assortment build up, driving the range
- and sales planning bt supplying/collaborating with the Design teams with market
- and sales insights and analysis.
- Collaborating with Online, and Marketplaces teams follow up on sales. Collect, analyse and respond to data driven opportunities. Supply Online and Marketplaces teams assortment and inventory updates. Creating, driving and maintaining all Footwear Range Planning including setting and driving the merchandising role, structure and timetable including shaping processes and meeting agendas. Providing briefs to design-, production & sourcing
- and marketing depts at given time.
- Monitoring, analysing, and responding to sales actuals on all Online markets and Marketplace channels including identifying and acting on opportunities and aligning the short term and long term forecasting, assortment and sales planning. Responsible for constant short
- and long term inventory management, analysis and planning
- Maintaining and updating the Company’s R12 Forecast and supplying Production department with constant updates.
- Along with the Production department-constantly supply forecasting updates and planning and take active roll in all order Forecasting and related including material or fabric block order. Driving in-bound order prioritization to optimize inventory levels
- Article creation and maintenance in business systems PLM and SAP
- Daily, weekly, monthly sales monitoring, analysis and inventory management/ planning
- Conduct relevant qualitative and quantitative analysis’s including data, trend, customer, competitor and market
- Constantly updating other departments on relevant information and sharing reports, forecasts, insights, analysis material or other
- Proactively seeking efficiency improvement including KPI creation and follow up
**ARE YOU THE ONE?**
Our new **Footwear Planner **is someone who has 5+ years of Footwear Merchandise/Range Planning experience within the fashion industry; preferably with Sneakers and experience from working with high level brands.. We also see you as being experienced and confident in:
- Analysis (you like to work in excel with sales and performance numbers)
- Qualitative analysis/market trends (what do we think the customer wants in a years’ time?)
- Driving sales (sales KPIs, goals, changes in percentages/sales)
- Value proposition
- Problem Solving
- Stakeholder management
- Continuous improvements and process analysis
