About the Role
Our client is seeking an exceptional sales professional to join their prestigious boutique in Tunbridge Wells, specialising in the world's finest timepieces or high jewellery. This is a rare opportunity to work with an exclusive collection featuring the most coveted watch brands including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, and other legendary manufacturers, alongside exquisite high jewellery from houses such as Cartier, De Beers, Fabergé, Graff, and similar prestigious jewellers.
As their Luxury Sales Professional, you will be the face of the boutique, providing unparalleled service to discerning clients who appreciate the finest craftsmanship and heritage in both horology and high jewellery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with high-net-worth clients
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of luxury timepieces, their history, complications, and craftsmanship
- Provide sophisticated guidance on high jewellery pieces, understanding gemstone quality, provenance, and design heritage
- Guide customers through their purchase journey, from initial consultation to after-sales care
- Maintain pristine presentation standards within the boutique environment
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
- Develop and nurture a personal client base through relationship building and follow-up
- Stay current with new releases, industry trends, and brand heritage stories across both watches and jewellery
- Handle valuations, trade-ins, and special client requests with discretion and expertise
- Coordinate watch repair bookings and after-sales service
- Maintain contact with VIP clients outside of standard working hours
- Work collaboratively within the team to ensure seamless client experience
What They're Looking For
- Proven track record in luxury retail sales within watches and/or high jewellery
- Experience with prestigious watch brands including Patek Philippe, Cartier, Rolex, Vacheron Constantin, Omega, and Audemars Piguet
- Knowledge of vintage timepieces is highly valued
- Experience with high jewellery houses such as Cartier, De Beers, Fabergé, Graff, or similar luxury jewellers
- Driven, self-motivated professional with a highly knowledgeable approach and strong team player mentality
- Well-spoken individual with pride in appearance and a strong work ethic
- Demonstrates sense of urgency and commitment to excellence in all interactions
- Expected to have extensive knowledge of the watch world and horological heritage
- Understanding of gemstones, precious metals, and high jewellery craftsmanship
- A natural people person with the ability to read client needs and build rapport
- Excellent team collaboration skills and positive working relationships
- Willingness to maintain contact with VIP clients outside of standard working hours
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels
- Professional appearance and demeanour befitting a luxury retail environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential client information
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends
