The Job:

We're looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our Entertainment Centre. You will ensure daily tasks are achieved, staff are organised and customers have the best possible experience during their YuMe visit. The daily role varies depending on whether you are supervising the desserts or the entertainment centre.

In general you will be required to:

  • Assigning Crew Member duties for the day
  • Organising break times
  • Monitoring start and end times, reporting any absences or lateness
  • Motivating team members & maintaining a culture of exceptional customer service by role modelling and coaching
  • Sharing product knowledge with Crew Members
  • Ensuring all Company procedures are followed correctly
  • Acting as an escalation route for Crew Members who need additional assistance with a customer query (e.g. customers with allergens)
  • Regular housekeeping to ensure the site is clean and hygienic at all times
  • Ensuring cash is managed securely in accordance with Company procedures
  • Ensuring all food hygiene standards are maintained
  • Welcoming customers and providing an excellent customer service
  • Advising customers on the desserts menu and taking orders
  • Making and preparing desserts to a high standard
  • Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of desserts on display
  • Restocking desserts/goods when required and monitoring stock levels

About You:

  • Ability to provide clear and consistent leadership to staff; to foster a fun and friendly working environment combined with a hardworking team ethos
  • Positive and friendly attitude at all times
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to build a rapport with customers and ensure they have the best visit possible
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards
  • A hands-on can-do approach, with the ability to work well within a team
  • Ethical and trustworthy – working with cash and young customers
  • Ability to problem solve, keeping the needs of the customer and business in mind

Hours / Pay:

  • Rota shift patterns covering Mon-Sun, 10am – 10pm
  • Part Time - 30hrs per week
  • £13.27 per hour
  • 28 days holiday (pro rata)
  • Unlimited access to games
