The Role: Product Designer

Location: Leeds or Porto

Overview of the role:

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Betfair International Gaming team focusing on the Gaming Product.

You'll lead on the design, delivery and maintenance of Betfair International Gaming assets, working closely with the wider Flutter UKI and International teams. We look after the Gaming products for Brazil, Spain, Italy and many other countries, across various channels.

Having worked in the digital industry, you'll have well developed UI and UX skill sets and a rich diversity of experiences to call upon. You'll have a passion for creating easy to use, enjoyable experiences for our customers that are engaging, consistent and encourage Safer Gambling where possible. Every product designer at Flutter is expected to work across the full design stack.

The role will be UK or Porto based, with the expectation of working from the office 1-2 times a week, or more if you like our new offices. As our teams work across multiple locations, travel to other locations may be required, with the potential opportunity to visit our colleagues in Cluj, Dublin, Leeds or London.

What you'll do:

• Working across International and UKI multi-disciplinary teams. You'll partner closely with your fellow Designers, Product and Commercial to find engaging practical solutions to design challenges.
• You'll deeply understand the customers you're designing for. Whether it's joining International user research sessions, gathering insights from previous studies or running your own lightweight research, you'll strive to understand the 'what' and 'why' of the problem you are solving ensuring we are not just doing the 'right thing' but doing the 'thing right'.
• You'll help raise the bar of design. You have a crucial role to play in advocating for user centred design and continually improving our community of practice – we want to give International customers a voice at the table to localise their experience and need your help.
• You'll use your facilitation know how to run engaging ideation sessions and other design workshops to help explore, develop and prioritise potential product ideas.
• You're passionate about your own and others development, you'll proactively seek out and provide feedback from other Flutter designers to continually raise our bar for quality.

What you'll bring:

• You will have a working knowledge of the industry standard Digital Design software including Figma, Zeplin, Miro and Sketch.
• A knowledge of working with Component libraries and Design systems would be an advantage
