Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office administration to contribute to a dynamic work environment.
Duties
- Manage and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
- Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Assist with data entry tasks using programmes such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as required
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendar activities for team members
- Support invoicing, billing, and other financial administrative tasks using relevant software
- Maintain office supplies inventory and organise procurement when necessary
- Support team members with general administrative duties to ensure operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven office experience or administrative experience in a professional setting
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and QuickBooks
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and data entry skills with high accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous clerical experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for specific software tools
