Job Description:
We are looking to recruit a Repairs & Maintenance Coordinator for our reactive repairs and property services team based in Essex. You will be a point of contact for customers, landlords and clients with any property related repairs raised and will be responsible for taking inbound calls from engineers, clients and all incoming queries from members of the public. This is a busy role that requires a high level of organisation, resilience, and co-ordination. Customer service is a key skill as you will be liaising with a wide variety of clients. Clear communication and excellent levels of time management and prioritisation skills are imperative for this fast-paced role.
The job entails a variety of duties including Processing jobs on our in-house system which training will be provided, liaising with customers to confirm booking appointments, dealing with job updates from engineers and ensuring the client is fully updated within a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring the job is completed within our inhouse system from start to finish. Including processing a job sheet, booking an appointment with customers, providing clear updates to our clientele and invoicing accordingly. All of which will be trained in house.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handling inbound calls from clients, contractors and engineers
- Logging jobs and following through to completion
- Scheduling in works for engineers/subcontractors
- Dealing with queries and complaints quickly and efficiently
- Ensure clients are updated on all jobs/courtesy calls
- Check all jobs from the previous day have been uploaded
- Upload reactive emails/call outs onto system
- Issue quote numbers and type up quotes

Desirable but not essential:
- Experience working as a property Maintenance Co-ordinator
- SOR Code/Social Housing experience
