Commercial Tyre Technician

Salary £39,100 per annum (OTE £44,000 with bonus and call outs, depending on experience and qualifications)

Full time, permanent. 44 hours per week across 4 days out of 6

Our Slough depot is leading an exciting recruitment drive by trialing a new 4-day flexible working pattern for Commercial Tyre Technicians. We are currently seeking skilled and trained professionals to take on a permanent role and help us test this innovative schedule, designed to significantly improve your work-life balance and job satisfaction. Key Responsibilities as a Commercial Tyre Technician:

  • Fit and maintain tyres for commercial vehicle fleets, including roadside breakdowns and on-site service.
  • Carry out fleet inspections and service work.
  • Complete company documentation and electronic job sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
  • Manage stock effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with depot colleagues to support customers.
  • Participate in on-call rota and flexible working patterns as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar role.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rota and flexible working patterns.
