Now Hiring: Bridging Finance Senior Underwriter – Real Estate Lending
London Based - Hybrid Position
I'm partnering with an extremely well funded lender in the UK real estate finance space that's launching their Bridging Finance proposition. They require an
experienced Senior Bridging Finance Underwriter,
you'll play a key role in helping shape credit policy, assessing large and complex deals, managing relationships with brokers and solicitors, and driving cases through to completion.
What you'll be doing:
Underwriting and assessing fully packaged loan applications in line with credit policy and risk appetite
Engaging directly with brokers/introducers to clarify deals and resolve queries
Reviewing valuations, legal documents, and reports to progress applications
Preparing and updating credit papers, issuing mortgage offers, and facilitating completion
Acting as the key point of contact for complex cases, ensuring SLA standards are met
What we're looking for:
Excellent understanding of the full loan process (bridging property finance experience essential)
Ability to communicate confidently with brokers, solicitors, and customers
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in case handling
