About This Role
There is no spec for this role as it will be shaped very much around the individual they meet and hire, effectively our Sales Director is looking to replicate himself freeing himself to drive the business, strategy and further company growth.
He wants someone he can trust to be his right hand person – freeing him up as much as possible to do what he does best which is growing our firms brand and standing.
This role will be heavily focused on the building of a formal sales function to support the firms growth, this entails the following:
Team management – training/development, currently there are 4 sales people but we want to grow this by at least 3 more.
Account Management – taking care of some of the biggest accounts we have, for all new sales and upselling opportunity you receive 15% commission on top of baseline
Sales structure – putting in place a formal sales structure, the processes, KPI's, building the commission structure, and management of sales professionals to support continuous growth not just for the short but for the medium and long term.
Who can be considered
This person we are looking for will be very client facing and comfortable acting a Sales Manager – the role has enormous growth potential as Outbound is growing so fast, this person has the scope to grow to director level
You will have a strong background in selling IT – ideally with MSP or Value Added Reseller (VAR) or possibly software sales.
You will be entrepreneurial and able to see the potential not just of Outbound Group but also your own career at Outbound Group.
Someone keen to be in office – Outbound want a manager who wants to work closely with their team, hearing and seeing how they are approaching sales, tweaking processes, conducting 1-2-1s, mentoring and being very present.
Details
Salary based around experience with commission (15% of anything you personally sell/accounts you manage) and 2% of everything the team sells, uncapped, the earning potential is towards £200k+
You will be able to work from Essex, they do 3 days in per week as a sales team – with the understanding clients will want to meet you in person
Equipment such as laptop will be provided
Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Based primarily from Basildon.
