Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where customer satisfaction and attention to detail are paramount. Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, though training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitise designated areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
  • Change bed linens and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
  • Ensure all surfaces are dusted, polished, and free of dirt or debris
  • Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Assist with laundry duties as required
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests courteously and efficiently

Skills

  • Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
  • Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
  • Basic cooking skills are considered a bonus but are not essential
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and work schedules as required
