About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Housing Manager at Advance Housing & Support Ltd. Advance is a specialist supported housing association that is on an exciting journey to deliver more services and develop more housing for people with learning disabilities or mental health conditions and supporting people towards greater independent living.

This role is based at our Witney Office and will manage a small team of Regional Housing Officers and Housing Outreach Workers. We are looking for a communicative, well organised and experienced housing manager to manage this wide geographical area which ranges from Oxfordshire to Cornwall.

In the role you will be making a difference daily to improve the lives and outcomes of our tenants and shared owners.

The role of Regional Housing Manager will include:

  • Providing effective tenancy and leasehold management in line with policies and procedures.
  • Supporting and performance managing staff who will be case managing anti-social behaviour, tenancy changes, shared ownership management and rent arrears including former tenant arrears.
  • Developing, building and maintaining relationships with tenants and other key stakeholders to ensure the effective management of housing services.
  • Playing a key role in the management and allocation of empty properties.
  • Developing and leading on tenant and shared ownership engagement initiatives.
  • Ensuring all Fire Risk Assessment remedial scheme-based actions are being carried out.
  • Supporting the Head of Tenancy & Leasehold Management to effectively manage safeguarding cases within the department.
  • Managing staff, carrying out annual appraisals and regular one to one performance meetings.

Advance is currently expanding our housing services in the Southwest of England and this role will play a key role in ensuring that all new services are implemented effectively and links with partner organisations is strengthened.

As travel is a requirement of the role, a full, current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, we will provide a car allowance of £2,280 per annum.
