Join our Asbestos and Water Compliance Team at L&Q:

This an opportunity to join a new asbestos team that will deliver the full range of asbestos services and work to the highest standards to keep our residents, colleagues and contractors safe.

This role will be working as part of a team of planners responsible for instructing asbestos surveys, remediation works and air-monitoring.  The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders to arrange decants, isolations, and other necessary logistics while also assisting the supply chain with access when required.

This role will report to the Asbestos Supervisor in the operational side of the asbestos team.

Your impact in the role:

·       Place and monitor asbestos orders and ensure the efficient delivery of asbestos works

·       Work with the wider organisation to achieve our goals and ensure repairs and works are completed safely and on time

·       Ensure compliance with the asbestos legislation, guidance and L&Q's asbestos policy

What you'll bring:

·       Your experience of a workload management and ability to manage workload in a fast paced, stakeholder facing environment

·       Your understanding of Service Level dynamics, flow of workstream implications and performance indicators

·       Your high level of attention to detail for information received and instructions issued, and to communicate a high level of detail in an effective manner to both internal and external stakeholders
