Equal Opportunities
At Transport for Wales we value diversity. It makes us stronger, helps us understand our customers better, make better decisions and be more innovative. Everyone's different and has their own perspective so we're building a diverse team that mirrors the communities we serve. Through this we're determined to be one of Wales' leading inclusive employers. We're creating an inclusive transport network that everyone in Wales can be proud of.
Who we are
At Transport for Wales, we're on a mission to transform transport in Wales and make it fit for the future, whether that's rail, bus, walking or cycling. We want to inspire a nation to change the way it travels, so that we all travel more sustainably and help to combat the climate emergency we're all facing.
We're an open and inclusive place to work, where everyone is welcome and our people are supported to reach their full potential. We want to create an environment where our people can grow and succeed. This is key to enabling us to deliver on the promises we've made to the people of Wales to build a sustainable transport network that meets their needs.

- Manage the delivery of the end-to-end recruitment process for all multi-discipline early talent programmes and wider TfW initiatives by developing and delivering a wide range of attraction, recruitment and selection activities to ensure a fair, inclusive and effective candidate experience that attracts diverse talent, and delivers a high-quality recruitment experience in line with TfW's Early Talent Strategy.
- Provide a seamless onboarding experience for all new early talent hires by supporting and delivering induction activities such as 'welcome days' and launch events to ensure that learning agreements with delivery partners for apprenticeships are handled appropriately and serve as the first point of contact for hiring managers, new apprentices, grads and interns, providing them with guidance and wrap around support as they integrate into the business.
- Conduct regular check-ins and progress reviews with Early Talent cohorts by working closely with hiring managers and delivery partners to share best practice, offer advice and guidance, and provide progress updates and reports to the Early Talent Manager to ensure alignment with key milestones and expectations across all programmes and to track and support the development of early talent, ensuring consistency and alignment with programme goals.

- Proven experience providing advisory support in a similar role within early talent, recruitment or HR.
- Experience of delivering full-cycle attraction and recruitment activities or events.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Understanding of recruitment processes and employment legislation.
