Business Development Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Business Development Manager.
This is a new role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the business development relationship in the Investment Management and Tax groups.
Responsibilities will include:
- Implementing business development strategies.
- Identifying new opportunities for business and client growth and preparing proposals to present to investment management and tax groups.
- Expanding client relationships, increasing revenue, and heightening brand recognition.
- Managing lateral integration programs through planning, tracking progress, and preparing reports.
- Overseeing the request for proposal management process, developing strategic response plans, and reviewing presentations.
- Tracking and managing the business development budget.
- Overseeing team members and departmental processes.
- Consulting with attorneys to ensure individual business development goals are developed and monitored.
- Overseeing the execution of client and group events.
- Reviewing collateral, communications, brochures, and presentations.
- Monitoring industry and client trends.
The firm are offering a highly competitive salary & benefits package, and 3:2 hybrid working arrangements are in place.
Suitable candidates will have gained at least 7 years of Business Development experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants with strong communication, organisational, leadership, and analytical skills. Demonstrated knowledge of CRM software, prioritisation skills, and the ability to work independently and under a team is highly desirable.
