London Area, United Kingdom Chip – your wealth app Full time £60,000 - £90,000 per year

We're looking for a
Lead CRM Manager
to build and run Chip's in-house CRM studio, a centre of excellence responsible for flawless campaign execution, world-class QA, and the technical optimisation of all growth-related communications in Braze.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role. You'll oversee the end-to-end delivery of our growth communications across email, in-app, push, and content cards, ensuring every message is built to the highest standard, delivered to the right audience, and grounded in best-practice technical set-up. You'll guide a small team, establish robust production workflows, and drive continuous improvements across our build components and QA processes.

You'll partner closely with Growth, Product, Data, and Engineering, translating strategy into seamless execution, while ring-fencing the wider CRM Team from operational and service comms work, allowing the team to focus exclusively on driving growth outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of CRM at one of the UK's fastest-growing fintechs.

What you can expect to be doing:

Leadership & Ownership

  • Lead and develop Chip's dedicated CRM Production Team, overseeing workflow, prioritisation, and team development.
  • Translate growth strategies into precise, timely, and technically flawless CRM execution.
  • Establish and enforce best-practice standards across build, execution and QA

Execution Excellence

  • Own the build, testing, and deployment of all growth-focused campaigns and automations in Braze.
  • Design and maintain modular components, templates, and naming conventions that enhance speed and consistency.
  • Ensure every campaign meets strict technical, regulatory, and performance requirements.

Quality Assurance & Deliverability

  • Implement a rigorous multi-stage QA framework covering logic, data, rendering, targeting, and tracking.
  • Partner with CRM Operations to ensure attributes, events, and catalogues are reliable and scalable.

Optimisation & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the performance, efficiency, or sophistication of our CRM output.
  • Explore and implement new Braze features, integrations, and technical advancements that elevate our growth communications.
  • Drive A/B testing structure, documentation, and optimisation frameworks across journeys and channels.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with Growth to interpret briefs and convert strategy into precise technical implementations.
  • Provide clear communication around timelines, dependencies, blockers, and delivery expectations.

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in CRM production, operations, or technical marketing — ideally in a high-growth, data-driven environment.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Braze (certification a plus), including Canvas, Liquid, segmentation, catalogues, and data structures.
  • Strong understanding of CRM QA, deliverability principles, and multi-channel communication build processes.
  • Confident working with data (SQL, Liquid, JSON, event structures) and partnering with technical teams.
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, or lead a small team, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Detail-obsessed, reliable, and driven to build systems that scale.
  • Curious, proactive, and passionate about elevating the standard of CRM craft within an organisation.

What we're really looking for:

Someone with a genuine interest in Chip and is excited about being part of a fast-growing company and our mission to build the investment super app of the future.

Although we're in the financial space, and under the scrutiny that comes with it, the current marketing team works well together, and even sometimes with a smile. We're sure you've got the technical skills, otherwise, you would have stopped reading by now, so let us be clear on what will make us want to work with you.

We want a real person, with interests outside of work, to join our team. You could be a dancer, a gamer, a musician, a parent, a hockey fan, or even that one person that still writes Twilight fan-fiction. Doesn't matter to us.

At the interview stages, we will be looking for empathy, eq, fun stories, and the ability to smile even when things are tough.
