Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our brand new Chery dealership in Bridgend.

Due to recent growth and the arrival of an exciting new brand we are looking to recruit a determined and enthusiastic person within a sales environment.

Experience within a sales background is required but doesn't have to be within the motor trade.

*Please note for this job we do require a full UK driving licence*

Duties

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences in selecting vehicles.
  • Demonstrate vehicles and explain features, benefits, and financing options.
  • Utilise upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Maintain an organised database of customer interactions and follow up on leads using relevant software.
  • Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Collaborate with the sales management team to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Stay informed about the latest automotive trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
  • Assist in maintaining the showroom's presentation standards, ensuring vehicles are clean and well-displayed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a successful sales team while providing outstanding customer service.
