Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.

  • Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
  • Ensure that the living environment is clean, safe, and conducive to the well-being of clients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each client's needs.

Skills

  • Previous experience in nursing homes, senior care, assisted living, or hospice care is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of dementia care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
