Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in consulting or a customer-facing role delivering cloud solutions.
  • Experience in people management, including managing engineers or architects through technical project delivery.
  • Experience in leading cloud transformations, including customer-facing migration, program management, service discovery, assessment, planning, execution and operations.
  • Experience in accelerated computing (e.g., Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, and GPU workloads).
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Data Center Design, build-out, or Facility Management; managing large-scale Windows or Linux environments; network design and deployment; databases; or storage systems.
  • Experience in systems design with architecting or explaining systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs, and methods available.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage across multiple time sensitive initiatives.

In this role, you will lead a technical team that is an integral part of the broader Professional Services organization. You will bring the leadership acumen to a team responsible for working directly with Google's customers to help them transform their business. You will help set and execute strategy and work with customer executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions via Google Cloud. You will oversee relationships with key Google partners currently servicing accounts in order to manage programs, deliver consulting services, and provide technical guidance and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a positive team culture, through hiring and developing a team of Cloud Technical Specialists with objectives, performance management, and career coaching.
  • Provide domain expertise in cloud infrastructure and platforms, serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers and solving cloud migration and transformation issues.
  • Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and external partners to manage and deliver cloud infrastructure solutions through discussions, presentations and recommendations, and implementation in Google Cloud environments.
  • Drive the development of best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to grow through partners and accelerate cloud adoption.
