Freelance / Part-Time Photographer (Lifestyle & Studio)

Location: Brighton (remote & on-site possibilities)

Hours: Flexible / Project-based

We're seeking a creative and technically skilled photographer to collaborate with a fast-growing independent brand producing high-quality embroidered essentials and lifestyle apparel. This is an opportunity to join a small, design-led team where visual storytelling and premium craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do.

You'll be responsible for producing a consistent flow of brand-aligned imagery — from clean, detail-focused studio product shots to relaxed, editorial-style lifestyle scenes. The ideal candidate brings not only technical confidence behind the camera but also a strong sense of composition, mood, and contemporary aesthetic — the kind of eye that captures scroll-stopping visuals.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in product, lifestyle, or e-commerce photography, or a standout portfolio that demonstrates an exceptional eye for current visual trends.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator (or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in lighting, tone, and composition.
  • Comfortable working both in-studio and on-location in lifestyle environments.
  • Ability to work independently or on your own terms while closely following the brief / instructions.
  • Excellent time management and ability to adapt to varying weekly workloads.

The Role

  • Flexible working hours — typically part-time or project-based, depending on the season and campaign schedules. In the beginning weekly hours will be widely available.
  • Mix of studio photography (product focus) and lifestyle shoots (models, environment, natural light).
  • Close collaboration with our brand and creative team to maintain a cohesive visual identity across platforms.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to build long-term creative collaboration with a growing brand, rather than one-off assignments.

This role is flexible and some weeks will be busier than the others. This job is best suitable for someone who is looking to apply their skills on flexible schedule.
