Overview
We are seeking an Accounts and Admin Assistant to join our small team in our busy office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounts and administrative support, ensuring a well organised and efficient office working environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised and helpful person with a confident telephone manner, good attention to detail, experience of Sage Accounts software and good Excel skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Part time minimum 20 hours per week Monday to Friday between 9.00 to may increase up to 30 hours dependant on workload and to cover holidays)
£13 per hour to £14 per hour depending on experience

Duties
- Processing weekly payments to suppliers
- Processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements
- Raising sales invoices
- Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
- Answering the telephone
- General administrative tasks including filing, photocopying and scanning
- Updating / completing existing spread sheets in Excel
- Completing other paperwork
Requirements
- Experience of Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll software essential
- Confident telephone manner
- Well organised
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be able to work independently and as part of a small team, communicate effectively with a can-do, proactive and positive attitude
