Based in Littleborough, we offer a wide range of sofas, chairs, and home furnishings tailored to our customers' needs.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional shopping experience, offering expert product advice, and helping customers create their dream interiors. Fixed days of work Monday, Friday and Saturday 10.00 am till 5.00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Welcome customers warmly and assist them in exploring our showroom.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on our sofa designs, fabrics, and custom options.
- Answer customer queries in person, over the phone, and via email with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Sales Support:
- Help customers select products tailored to their needs and preferences.
- Process orders accurately and ensure all customer specifications are recorded.
- Up sell and cross-sell products such as footstools, cushions, and fabrics.
- Showroom Maintenance:
- Ensure the showroom is clean, well-organised, and displays are updated regularly. Ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
- Maintain fabric sample libraries and promotional materials.
- Teamwork & Communication:
- Work collaboratively with the wider team, including the workshop and design staff.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and sales trends.
- Administrative Duties:
- Update customer records and track orders through the sales system.
- Handle payments and issue receipts.

- Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
- Basic IT skills for processing orders and managing customer data.
