Role Summary

Reporting directly to the COO, the New Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the Food Service, Contract Packing, and Export markets. This is a strategic, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys the challenge of building business from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct in-depth research to identify potential customers, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to approach and onboard new clients in target markets.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with prospects and partners to nurture leads through to conversion.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling commercial proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Product Development) to ensure alignment on customer requirements and company capabilities.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the COO on pipeline development, market feedback, and commercial progress.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed new business sales targets and KPIs.

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience:

  • 5–10 years' proven experience in sales or business development roles within the Food Service, Contract Packing, FMCG, or Export sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in developing new business and managing complex B2B sales cycles.
