Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor or Door Supervisor with valid SIA license to join the team. As a flexible role covering local pubs, clubs and shopping centres you can chose your own hours to suite your needs. Shifts are claimed via the company schedule app. As well as flexible hours we also offer weekly pay, this role is ideal for working around family, education or as a second job.

Potential Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team to ensure effective security measures are in place.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to identify potential security threats or breaches. (Valid CCTV SIA license required).
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with safety regulations and security protocols.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, providing first aid when necessary.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and maintain accurate records of all activities.
  • Train and mentor security staff on best practices in surveillance, emergency response, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed to enhance security measures.

Qualifications

  • Valid relevant SIA license required.
  • Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and strategies.
  • Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong observational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
