Framework is a registered charity delivering housing support, health, and employment services to people with a diverse range of needs. We provide access to treatment for people with mental health issues and those using alcohol or substances, and we join up services for homeless people with multiple and complex needs.

Through 70 services across East Midlands, Framework is both a safety net and a platform for change. Each year, more than eighteen thousand people approach us for help. Responding to their needs, respecting their choices and empowering them to achieve, we aim to make life better for our service users and those around them.

Your role

We're growing our HR team here at Framework and as a result we are on the lookout for two experienced HR Advisors. At Framework, our working environment is definitely challenging at times, but you'd be joining an organisation who has been fighting to end homelessness for over two decades and are working closely with our partners to ensure we keep on doing so.

Our HR team work in a hybrid way that will allow you to meet the needs of our teams who are spread across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire, whilst giving you the flexibility to allow you to work in the most effective way.

As one of three HR Advisors, you'll be the first point of contact for line managers for all Employee Relations casework. You'll also work with an HR Business Partner supporting change management activities such as Restructuring, Redundancy processes and TUPE.

If you enjoy working across the full range of HR activities and aren't daunted by managing your own caseload we'd love to have an application from you.

What you'll be doing;

• Work closely with managers to provide HR advice and support on a full range of Employee Relations casework across the organisation.

• Manage your own caseload, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management cases from start to finish

• Upskill line managers to build confidence and competence

• Support the delivery of a variety of line manager workshops

• Contribute to HR projects across a wide range of areas that are both specific to your areas of the organisation and also as part of the organisational HR Plan

• Work closely with HR Business Partners and the wider HR team to provide the best Service to Managers and Employees

• Work with Trade Union Representatives and other partner organisations

What you'll bring to the table:

• A proven track record in a similar ER/HR role

• Experience of Employee Relations including managing disciplinary and grievance, performance, and absence cases

• Resilience and a flexible, supportive but assertive approach

• Effective communication skills and a natural professional curiosity

• Good working knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to apply it to day to day situations

• The ability to work across a wide range of disciplines and different teams with people at all levels of the organisation
