Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Leicester for a Support Worker. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence. Duties will include helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and engaging clients in activities and outings. The Care Assistant will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver individualized care plans and document the progress of clients accurately. Effective communication with clients, their families, and the care team is essential.

Qualifications

  • Personal care and supporting daily living activities skills
  • Ability to administer medication and document client progress accurately
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage clients in activities
  • Experience in providing care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to client well-being
  • Relevant care-related certifications or qualifications
  • Must be able to work on-site in Leicester
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
