Painting Contracts Manager

This is a hands-on, multi-site management role where you'll be leading delivery teams across London — making sure our projects hit every mark:
quality, safety, program, and client satisfaction
.

You'll be the key link between our painters, our clients, and our senior leadership team.

If you thrive on responsibility, enjoy running multiple projects at pace, and take pride in clean, snag-free finishes — you'll fit right in.

The Role

  • Managing multiple decorating projects from £50k–£1m in value
  • Leading teams of painters, supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Planning and sequencing works to meet program milestones
  • Driving quality standards and ensuring snag-free completion
  • Overseeing health & safety across all live sites
  • Managing labour, materials, and cost control
  • Building strong relationships with clients and main contractors
  • Reporting progress, variations, and KPIs to senior management

Experience

  • Experience managing painting, decorating, or finishing packages
  • Strong site and program management skills
  • Great communication and client-facing confidence
  • Eye for detail and drive for quality
  • SMSTS or SSSTS + valid CSCS
  • Full UK driving licence

Bonus points for:

  • Painting/decorating trade background or NVQ qualification
  • Experience in high-end fit-out or commercial interiors
  • Ambition to grow into a senior leadership role
